Relationships are hard enough. Then add kids in the mix and the relationship gets even more strained and tested 🔥
How do you sustain a partnership after having kids? Well, it’s not easy. But it is possible.
This is my second conversation with Jeff. We previously recorded a conversation for the Project Rad Dad podcast series earlier this year about nurturing strong bonds with your children…
But for this one, we dive into questions about relationship with our wives after kids came into the picture.
Not an Interview—a Conversation
Unlike the typical interview-style, we engage in more of a conversation, where we each take turns answering the questions, including:
What has strained our marriage with kids? (causes)
How did stress manifest? What were some of the breakdowns that we recognized?
What interventions happened?
How does the relationship get nourished now? Or not?
What new mindsets/intentions are present?
What new practices are present to support the relationship?
